Micah and Adam’s engagement session at Bald Peak State Scenic Viewpoint felt like one of those golden Oregon evenings that you wish you could bottle up. The hillside was full of tall grasses and deep green trees, and the sunlight poured across the landscape in that warm, glowing way that makes everything feel a little magical.

We wandered through the grass, letting the light guide us while they laughed and pulled each other close. There was such an easy happiness between them, the kind that doesn’t need much direction. They just enjoyed being together, and that joy carried through the whole afternoon.

Engagement sessions always feel like standing on the edge of something new. It’s that moment right before life shifts into a different chapter, full of anticipation and excitement. I love being able to pause time for a little while and capture that feeling, two people looking ahead, ready for whatever comes next.
