ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Shanna!

I’m a PNW-based traveling portrait photographer focused on honest, human connection. With a background in fine art and psychology, I bring intention, care, and mental-health awareness into every session.

I believe photography can be healing, and I work to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and fully themselves.

“My hope is that everyone has the opportunity to capture the memories that matter most!”

MY VALUES

Photography is not just about the final image, it’s about the experience of being seen.

I strive to create an affirming, supportive environment throughout the entire process. That means clients don’t have to explain or minimize who they are, and can trust that their identities, families, and relationships will be respected.

I approach every session with care thoughtfulness, and attention.

The way someone feels in front of my camera matters just as much as the photos we create together.

WHAT I STAND FOR

  • LGBTQ+ affirmation and trans safety

  • Immigrant dignity and belonging

  • Bodily autonomy and choice

  • Equity over indifference

  • Respect for all bodies and identities

  • Refusal of hate, harm, or erasure
