Photographing the Sackett family was such a sweet afternoon. This session brought together my coworker Stewart’s family and his sister’s family as they celebrated the arrival of their brand new baby girl. There’s something really lovely about photographing two families that are so clearly connected and excited to grow together.
One of the most heartwarming parts was watching Stewart’s son William absolutely gush over his new baby cousin. He was so proud and curious, wanting to be close to her and clearly already taking his role as cousin very seriously. Moments like that are my favorite, the little interactions that show how families expand and welcome new life.
Both families were so vibrant and full of personality, and the love between them was impossible to miss. It felt like everyone was just genuinely happy to be together and soaking in this new chapter. Getting to capture that joy and connection was such a pleasure.
