I photographed Kelly’s graduation photos while I was still a student at Oregon State University myself, which made the session feel extra meaningful. Walking around campus together and celebrating such a big milestone in a place we were both spending so much time in was really fun.

One of my favorite parts was her grad cap, which featured the Dr. Seuss quote: “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.” It was such a thoughtful choice and spoke to her passion for caring for our earth. It felt like the perfect message to carry into the next chapter.
