Cathedral Park felt like the perfect place for this session, open sky, the St. Johns Bridge stretching overhead, that soft Portland light filtering through the trees. And standing there with Victoria after not seeing her for years felt surreal in the best way.

We’ve watched each other grow up. We’ve seen each other fall in love, fall out of love, figure things out, and keep going. So seeing her now, so steady and sure, next to someone who so clearly feels like home to her, it just means more.

Getting to meet Phil and see the way he cares for her was really special. He’s grounded and gentle, and the way he looks at her says everything. They move together so easily — laughing, leaning into each other, completely comfortable. There’s a calmness there that feels earned.

After all these years, it’s beautiful to witness her find her forever person. And getting to capture that chapter for her, under that bridge with the city around us, felt like such a gift.
