Getting to photograph Walter at his doggy daycare was such a treat. Walter is my best friend Elise’s corgi, and he truly has big main character energy. He’s such a character, incredibly opinionated, always making his feelings known, but at the same time so loyal and full of love.

Being able to photograph him in one of his favorite places made it even sweeter. The second we arrived he was barking, chasing his ball, running around with pure excitement, and making sure everyone paid attention to him. It was very clear that this was his kingdom and we were all just visiting.

Walter has such a big personality packed into that little corgi body, and it was so fun getting to capture him exactly as he is, playful, dramatic, affectionate, and completely unforgettable. Honestly, it felt less like a photoshoot and more like documenting a day in the life of a very important little celebrity.
