This gallery was created during the Love Loud Retreat, a multi-day experience centered around uplifting queer creatives, artists, and vendors through intentional collaboration and community. Hosted by Katelyn Servedio Photography, it brought together an incredible group of artists to create, connect, and fully lean into their vision.

“Ashes to Ashes” was one of those shoots that felt electric from the start. Deep reds, bold textures, dramatic florals, striking makeup, and a venue that carried its own kind of presence, every element came together in a way that felt immersive and alive. It was the kind of set that pulls you in completely.

Working with Haily and Regina was an absolute joy. From the moment we started, they brought so much personality, humor, and ease to the space. Between shots, we were all laughing, the kind of laughter that makes a long, cold shoot feel light and effortless. Haily kept us entertained with astrology insights (and honestly, I learned a lot), and I managed to convince Regina, much to Haily’s delight, that she absolutely needs to be Velma (pantsuit edition) next Halloween.

And while the energy was high, the temperatures were not. It was freezing, and yet they showed up fully, committed, and present through it all. That kind of dedication, paired with their natural chemistry, made this shoot what it was.

This entire set truly felt like a collaboration at its best, florals by Jackelope Floral Co. bringing richness and depth, rentals from Arden Event Collective grounding the space, makeup artistry by Shelby Valaer elevating every look, all set within the raw beauty of The Ruins at Hood River.
