Eagle Fern Park was absolutely glowing the day I photographed Sam and Ben. Everything was that deep, lush Oregon green, the trees towering overhead and the river moving quietly nearby. It felt peaceful and full of life, a place that slows you down and just breathe it all in.
Ben has already been part of our family for years. He fits so naturally, so effortlessly, that it’s hard to remember a time before him. Watching their relationship grow over the years has been such a gift, and it just feels right seeing it become official. We’ve loved him for a long time, now we just get to celebrate it out loud.
Sam and Ben have built something steady and real. The way they look at each other feels grounded and sure, like they both know exactly what they have. Getting to stand there with my camera and capture this season for them meant so much to me. It wasn’t just a beautiful Oregon day, it was a day that marked something that’s already been true for years.
