Sam’s senior session was such a fun one to photograph. We took her photos at the old military fort at Fort Stevens, which made for such a cool and unexpected backdrop. The weathered concrete structures and rugged coastal setting created this striking contrast with Sam’s glamorous look, it made every photo feel a little dramatic in the best way.

We spent the afternoon wandering around the fort, finding little pockets of light and different angles in the old structure. It was one of those sessions that felt relaxed and adventurous at the same time, just exploring and capturing the moment.

I’m so proud of Sam and everything she’s accomplished. It meant a lot to me to document this chapter for her before she heads into the next stage of life. She has so much ahead of her, and I know she’s going to go so far.
